URGENT: Video shows beheading of second American journalist

DUBAI (Reuters) - The Islamic State militant group released a video purporting to show the beheading of U.S. hostage Steven Sotloff, the SITE monitoring service reported on Tuesday. A masked figure in the video also issued a threat against a British hostage, a man the group named as David Haines, and warned governments to back off "this evil alliance of America against the Islamic State", the monitoring service said. WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A convicted sex offender who sexually assaulted two 15-year-old girls in 2005 and 2006 will be released in Wausau today.

Micah Yablinsky has finished serving a three-year prison term and is eligible for release. He will live in transitional housing and probation agents will track his whereabouts with a GPS unit.

According to the state corrections department, Yablinsky found a 15-year-old girl online and met her at the Athens fair in 2005. He took the girl to his home in Colby and sexually assaulted her. Yablinsky had sexual contact with the same victim that November.

A year later, police said Yablinsky sexually assaulted a different 15-year-old girl at his home.

The assaults led to separate convictions in Clark and Marathon counties on sexual assault charges. Both victims still live in the area and have been notified of Yablinsky’s release.
