MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - The board that sets policies for the UW System got a new member Friday. Governor Jim Doyle appointed Jessica Schwalenberg of Delafield as a representative for non-traditional students – which include working adults and returning veterans among others.
Schwalenberg replaces Kevin Opgenorth. Her term begins immediately, and it runs until May first of 2012. Schwalenberg is grading from the UW-Waukesha two-year college, and she plans to go to UW-Milwaukee this fall and major in psychology.
