STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) – A Rosholt woman who plotted to kill her husband so she could continue an extramarital affair will be sentenced today.
Carla Glodowski faces up to 25 years in prison after pleading no contest last month to first-degree reckless injury.
The sentencing hearing begins at 1:15 p.m.
Two other co-defendants have already been sentenced for their role in the November 2008 shooting of James Glodowski. The gunwoman, Linda Dietze, is serving a seven-year prison sentence. A judge sentenced the mastermind, Carlos Cummings, to 14 years in prison in March.
Carla Glodowski told police she and Cummings discussed the plot to kill her husband about a month before the shooting so they could “run away together after James Glodowski was dead.”
Prosecutors say Cumming convinced Dietze to lure James Glodowski to Zenoff Park in Stevens Point. Dietze shot Glodowski five times but he survived.
