WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) The Kohlman and Lee's grocery store on South 3rd Avenue was robbed last night. It happened around 9-30.

Wausau police say a suspect is custody. He was found a short time later on Garfield Avenue. He'll make an initial court appearance later today. It's not clear if a weapon was involved in the crime, or how much money the suspect got away with. A store clerk says the man at first said he didn't have money to purchase his groceries and cigarettes. He then went outside, returned a short time later, and claimed he had a gun. It's not clear if a weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The suspect's name will be released when he makes his court appearance today.
