The Red Wings scored four goals in the third period last night to down the St. Louis Blues 7-to-3 at Joe Louis Arena. Daniel Cleary tallied twice for Detroit and Brian Rafalski added three assists. Jimmy Howard stopped 33 shots for the Red Wings.
Cleary extended his goal streak to six games and figures the Red Wings haven’t yet played their best hockey.
Tomorrow night, the Red Wings host the Minnesota Wild.
