WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – The Wausau Center Mall will be getting in on the Black Friday shopping experience this year.

General Manager Megan Lawrence says the move is one that's been put in motion over the last several years. “Our anchor stores have been open at 3 am or 4 am the last few years, and the rest of our stores said, 'hey, we want to do that too!'”

Main stores JCPenney and Younkers will open up at 3 am, Sears and a number of other stores inside the mall will open at 4 am, and the res of the mall will be open at 5.

Lawrence says parking and getting around downtown shouldn't be an issue once the day rolls around. “We'll be having free parking on the ramp all weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. People might be parking a little bit higher on the ramp than they're used to though.”
