It was Michigan’s media day Wednesday and while the Wolverines are looking forward to the upcoming season, they’re also looking ahead to next year when the team’s new 23-million dollar practice facility and development center will open on the east side of Crisler Arena.
Michigan Coach John Beilein said he’s excited to get going and likes the preparation the team had in its games on a tour of Europe in August.
Michigan returns three starters from last season’s 15-and-17 squad squad, junior guards Zach Novak and Stu Douglass and sophomore point guard Darius Morris, but gone are the two top scorers from last season, Manny Harris and DeShawn Sims. The Wolverines open their season at home November 13th against South Carolina Upstate.
