WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - A Marathon County judge ordered a gang member to stand trial Wednesday for stabbing a 15-year-old October 9th outside a Wausau house party.
Ger Vue was bound over on one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. He remains jailed on a $50,000 pending arraignment at a later date.
The victim testified that he and a friend were standing outside a house on the 900 block of Stark Street when Vue and another person approached him. The two exchanged words and the victim said Vue stabbed him in the stomach. The victim said he had seen Vue with the knife.
Vue admitted his involvement in the stabbing to police. Chief Jeff Hardel said the stabbing happened in retaliation for a previous gang conflict.
An 18-year-old man was charged separately with child abuse-intentionally causing harm, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct. Jacy Her was released on a $7,500 signature bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 29th.
