WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Republican gubernatorial hopefull Scott Walker made a final visit to Wausau yesterday ahead of Tuesday's primary.
Walker spoke to a crowd of around 50 people at the Rose Garden Saturday night as a part of his Brown Bag tour.
Though Walker's opponent on Tuesday is former congressman Mark Neumann, he spent most of the evening talking about the Democrats and their push to muddy the Republican race with attack ads.
Governor Doyle's campaign has spent a million dollars in funding for a political action group that has run attack ads against Walker ahead of the primary election. He says that shows how much of a threat to the Democrats he is in November.
Mark Neumann will make an appearance tomorrow at Trig's in Wausau at 2:45.
