WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Wausau police have issued a citation to the Break-Away nightclub for smoking violations. Police officers say the club manager set up an illegal smoking room inside the club, and allowed up to a-dozen people to use cigarettes inside.

Police say they issued at least two other warnings to the club manager. On one occasion, the club's disc jockey was found smoking in the room. Another time more than 30 people were smoking there -- but police had to leave for another call before they could issue a citation. The latest violation took place on Saturday night.

The fine for violation the state-wide smoking ban is 189-dollars.
