DETROIT -- Billionaire Tom Gores is expected to be announced as the new owner of the Detroit Pistons.  The NBA has to give final approval on the purchase agreement between Gores and Palace Sports and Entertainment owner Karen Davidson.  The dollar amount tied to the deal has not been released.  Forbes places the team's value at 360-million-dollars.
