WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – The top leaders of local colleges and universities will gather tonight for a forum on the future of higher education in Wisconsin.

The group wants to answer one question: “What's in the future for the affordability, quality and state funding of public higher education?”

The forum is at 7 p.m. at the UW Center for Civic Engagement on the UW-Marathon County campus. Northcentral Technical College president Lori Weyers, interim UWMC dean Keith Montgomery and UW-Stevens Point chancellor Bernie Patterson will participate. The forum will be moderated by Wisconsin Public Radio's Glen Moberg.

There will be time for public questions and comments on all topics related to higher education.
