WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Local 4H students are getting ready for judging of livestock and projects in this week's Wisconsin Valley Fair.
Fair administrator Maria Budnik says this is an important event for kids across Central Wisconsin. “It gives them a chance to show off what they can do.” Entries will be judged all week, in categories ranging from baking, produce, livestock raising artwork and more.
Budnik says the craft judging starts tomorrow, leading up to livestock judging the rest of the week. “We'll have the face to face things starting at noon. That's the artwork and stuff like that.”
Livestock will start to arrive Wednesday, and judging will run through Saturday leading up to the Market Animal Sale. You can find out the schedule of events and more online at www.wisconsinvalleyfair.com
