WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) — The lights went out for a small portion of Wausau and Rothschild Monday night.
As of 10:00 p.m., 465 customers were affected by two outages. Most of the affected homes and businesses were along and near Grand Avenue. Several traffic lights and street lights were out.
Wisconsin Public Service’s Kelly Zagrzebski says the cause of the outages is a failed regulator, and crews expect to have power restored shortly after 11:00 p.m.
There were other scattered outages in Hatley and Green Bay Monday night.
