UNDATED (WSAU) There are scattered outages in Central Wisconsin from late afternoon thunderstorms.
Wisconsin Public Service reports about 6,000 customers are without power as of 8:30pm Saturday. 2,200 of the outages are in Wausau. There are also outages in Antigo and Merrill. Crews are working on power restoration; it’s not clear how long it will take to get everyone back on-line.
The area saw wind gusts above 60-miles-per-hour. Parts of Central Wisconsin got 1.5-inches of rain.
