WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A garage was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning on Wausau's west side. It happened around 3am on North 5th Avenue. The cause isn't known.

Fire investigators were back on the scene Sunday.

An old car that was stored inside was destroyed during the blaze. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to nearby homes.
