GREEN BAY, Wis (WSAU) The Green Bay Packers are planning a victory celebration tomorrow afternoon at Lambeau Field.
The team spent Sunday night in Texas celebrating their Super Bowl win. They are scheduled to return to Green Bay today, although their departure and arrival times have not been publicly announced. The Packers may provide more information on the team's return home later today. Green Bay police say they will begin putting up barricades for the team’s busses at 1:15 this afternoon.
The official victory celebration is being called 'Return to Titletown' -- it will take place at Lambeau Field on Tuesday between 4 and 5pm. Tickets will cost 5-dollars. They go on-sale at 9am Monday morning through Ticketmaster outlets only. Proceeds from the event go to the Packers Foundation charities. Parking at Lambeau Field will be free.
The team also needs 450 shovelers to clear out Lambeau Field starting at 8 this morning. They’ll be paid $8-an-hour.
WSAU AM-550 FM-99.9 will broadcast the 'Return to Titletown' event live.
