WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Wausau wants your help naming the public square downtown.
The city's park and recreation committee picked 10 names from more than 280 suggestions to forward on to a public vote that starts Thursday morning. You will be able to vote once for your favorite from the list.
Ballots will be available online at the city's Web site or in person at city hall or the public library in Wausau.
Voting will continue through February 25th. The committee will recommend the three most popular names to the City Council for a final decision as early as next month.

Alexander Square
Bull Falls Square
City Square
Courthouse Square
Freedom Square
Founders Square
Grand Plaza
McIndoe Square
Metro Square
