Duffy picks campaign HQ as new Wausau office

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Republican congressman Sean Duffy has selected and opened the location for his Wausau offices.

The location is the same Grand Avenue office space he used as his campaign headquarters. District director Dave Anderson says that the office will help Duffy coordinate his movements and schedule while in the district, and will help Duffy keep abreast of things happening back in Wisconsin while he's in Washington running business.

Anderson says that while Duffy is away in Washington, aides will help take his place here in Central and Northern Wisconsin. “Congressman Duffy has literally hundreds of meeting invitations from the district while in Washington. When he's not here, we provide that representation for him and report back to him.”

Right now there are 4 staff members in the office with more on the way once another office is opened up in Superior. Anderson says they're not quite sure when that office will be opened. “That's a little uncertain at this point, we're hoping that will happen in the next 4 to 6 weeks.”

Anderson says you're welcome to come into the office whenever they're open from 8 to 5 each day. It's located at 208 Grand Avenue in Wausau or you can call (715) 298-9344.
