WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) District 8 in the City of Wausau will need a new City Council rep. Chris Barr, who was elected in 2010, resigned this week citing personal reasons.

District 8 is a westside district and it's unknown at this point how Barr will be replaced. Barr's term runs through April of 2012. He served on the Public Health and Safety, Capital Improvement and Street Maintenance Committees.
