Shiocton, Wi (WSAU) A 21-year-old man has drowned in a lake in east-central Wisconsin. Outagamie County sheriff’s deputies said he was swimming across the lake with friends when he went under at Lake Park in Shiocton (shy-ock’-ton). It happened around 5:45 yesterday afternoon. Witnesses said the victim was under water for about 20 minutes before help arrived. The man’s name was not immediately released.
