WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A semi truck crashed into a traffic signal on Grand Avenue in Wausau this afternoon.

The truck was turning from Townline Road north on Grand Avenue when it hit the signal. The signal is dangling over the truck, said Wausau street superintendent Don Skare.

Skare said police are detouring traffic on Townline Road and Prospect Avenue back to Grand Avenue while crews get the signal working again.
