MARATHON COUNTY (WSAU) – The family of a Colby area pharmacist killed nearly five years ago is offering a $20,000 reward for information about the murder.
Fifty-eight-year-old Ken Juedes was found shot to death in his rural Unity home sometime during the night of August 29, 2006.
Police consider his wife Cindy Schultz a person of interest in the case. But they have not made any arrests.
“We know we're getting there but we want that one piece of the puzzle from a prosecutor's standpoint would help them with a case like this,” said Marathon County sheriff's Detective Sean McCarthy.
Police have looked into Juedes' business dealings as a pharmacist and his involvement in the money-losing Monster Hall Raceway in Unity. But the leads have failed to turn up any suspects.
The family reward is not the first offered in the unsolved murder. The Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation offered a $5,000 reward in the case in January 2009.
