ANTIGO, Wis (WSAU) The pilot of an ultra-light plane that crashed on Sunday near Antigo has been identified. 31-year-old William Brush of Summit Lake was the only person on-board when the small plane nose-dived back to the runway just after take-off at the Langlade County airport.
He was airlifted to Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He's expected to survive his injuries, but he is still listed in critical condition.
The F-A-A does not regulate ultra-light aircraft, and will not conduct an investigation into the crash.
