MADISON (WSAU) About 70-people took part in a 10-mile naked bike ride in Madison on Saturday.
Similar events have been held in other cities around the world to raise awareness about dependency on fossil fuel.
Police report only one arrest. Madison does not have a public nudity ordinance, but police can issue disorderly conduct charges if there are complaints.
A year earlier nine people were arrested during the Madison ride. And this year three of the bikers went to court, asking a judge to order the city not to make similar arrests. The case was still pending when this year’s event took place.
