UNDATED (WSAU) – After Merrill's school board passed a sudden compromise with their unions last night, Wausau could be moving to do the same.

The school board has scheduled a special session tonight to go over negotiations with the their teacher's union, possibly to beat the deadline on the end of collective bargaining rights.

Wausau's school board meeting tonight in closed session at 6:45. Stevens Point's board had scheduled a similar meeting, but that has been canceled.
