WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A Metro-ride bus crashed into a car near downtown Wausau last night.

The accident happened around 6:30 just a few moments after the bus had left the downtown terminal. The bus was turning onto 6th Street when it hit car. Police are still investigating who had the right-of-way.

The bus was empty at the time. It was returning to the Metro-ride garage. The driver of the car was taken to Wausau Aspirus Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The bus driver was not hurt.
