WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Dunkin’ Donuts will open six locations in Wausau over the next five years. The first will open next year.

The donut company is partnering with Wisconsin Dells-based Travel Mart to run the restaurants. It also wants to open restaurants in north Milwaukee, La Crosse, Green Bay and Eau Claire.

Dunkin’ Donuts used to be just a doughnut and hot coffee chain. It has since expanded its menu to offer frozen and cool beverages, a bakery and hot sandwiches.
