MADISON (WSAU) A group of Republicans has filed a lawsuit, asking that upcoming recall elections be conducted using new redistricting boundaries. Currently the recalls are using the old district lines.
The new redistricting maps are said to be more GOP friendly.
It is also possible that someone wouldn't be allowed to vote out their current state senator, if their address was moved into a district when the boundary-lines changed.
Those new lines are still the subject of a federal court challenge, with democrats claiming they were unfairly drawn. A panel of federal judges has yet to rule on that case.
