CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis (WSAU) A polka musician and songwriter from Chippewa Falls won his lawsuit against his ex-wife over a song he wrote.

Ray Rubenzer and his wife Lois performed Yodelin' Boy Polka together for many years. When they divorced, Rubenzer says his wife recorded the same song with different lyrics with her new husband David Melgaard. A copyright infringement lawsuit followed.

Under the settlement, Lois and David will pay $25,000 and will give up any rights to their recording.

Their attorney says they settled the case because they wanted Rubenzer out of their lives.
