Badgers Taylor Will Be Ready For Opening Practice

by

Madison Wi (WSAU) Wisconsin men’s basketball guard Jordan Taylor says he’ll be fully ready when the Badgers start practicing on Saturday. The senior All-American had surgery in late July on an ankle that he injured in June. Taylor would not explain the injury – but he had to turn down a spot on Team U-S-A for the World University Games in China next month. Taylor said he could have played, but he might have had lingering pain throughout the season. By resting the ankle, Taylor says it will totally healthy for his final year under Bo Ryan in Madison. Taylor scored just over 18 points a game for Wisconsin in his junior year. And he led the nation with an assist-to-turnover ratio of three-point-eight-three. It helped the Badgers go 25-and-9 last season, when they made the N-C-A-A Sweet-16 round. -10/13-
