WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) The first of four people charged with making counterfeit 20-dollar bills was in Marathon County court yesterday. Shawn Donovan entered a not-guilty plea.
Prosecutors say he used the fake money at yard sales in the Wausau area last summer.
Donovan is currently being held in the Dodge County jail on an unrelated battery charge.
The three others accused in the fake-money case are Christina Abbott, Bonnie Cleveland, and Clint Bostwick. They will enter pleas in the next few weeks.
