If you remember back a few days, you may recall that Mark Wahlberg and his brother Donnie Wahlberg are opening a restaurant outside of Boston aptly named Wahlberger's. Clearly, this is television gold. At least that's what Marky Mark and his brothers are thinking. They're looking to film a reality show that follows the conception and opening of Wahlberger's. There's just one small catch: Mark doesn't want to be on camera in any capacity. Yup. That's a burst bubble if I ever saw one.
He told E! News, ""Maybe I'll be the Charlie's Angels of reality TV...You'll hear my voice. But obviously it's something that we'd want to control in every aspect and produce and make sure that we were doing something really quality."" Well, Mr. Wahlberg, if we've learned anything about reality TV, it's that the more ""quality"" it purports to have, the less appealing it is. Reality television is by definition, over-the-top, sensational and ridiculous. Maybe you and your brothers should just stick to the high-end burgers and throw in the the TV towel. Besides, having Mark Wahlberg do a voiceover for a reality show about a burger joint might be just a little too Goodfellas Goes to Boston for me.
