WAUKESHA, Wis. (WSAU) – A Rothschild man convicted of trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex last winter will be sentenced in Waukesha County later today.
Ron Housworth faces a maximum 40-year sentence, including up to 25 years in prison. He pled guilty in July to using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
Police arrested Housworth December 3rd as he drove to Pewaukee to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. It was actually an undercover police officer.
Housworth admitted he was driving there to have sex with the girl, whom he had chatted with online more than a dozen times since November.
