After being yanked out of a halfway house last week and returning to prison, T.I. is now out of the clink and going back the halfway house to complete his prison sentence (no, he really is this time). It was reported earlier that the rapper was removed from the halfway house in the first place because he had unauthorized people on the bus that transported him there. Prison officials also claimed that T.I. conducted business while on the bus (although we're not sure what kind), but his reps strongly deny it.
T.I.'s lawyer, Steve Sadow, made a statement about his client's second release from prison, stating, ""We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.'s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta."" He also adds that, ""T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year."" That is, unless he gets himself into more trouble, which looking back on his record is highly likely. I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case.
