ANTIGO, Wis (WSAU) One of the school employees caught in the Antigo marijuana investigation will be returning to work later this month. Jeff Neufeld has been on unpaid leave as director of the Antigo Aquatic Center. He's been reinstated by the Antigo school board.
Neufeld is charged with one count of possession of marijuana. The case is still penmding.
He was one of several school employees in the Antigo and Merrill school districts who were charged with pot-related crimes. According to a criminal complaint, Neufeld admitted to purchasing pot from Scott Peterson - a retired Antigo teacher who has since reached a plea bargain.
When Neufeld returns to work he'll be sbject to random drug testing. He'll be back on-the-job August 20th.
