MOSINEE, Wis (WSAU) Classes are all washed up for this week at one area high school.... literally.
A water main break has caused a great deal of damage at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School at Mosinee. School officials have called off classes, and say the school might be closed for more than a week. Carpeting, drywall, ceiling tiles, plus books, desks, and computers were all damaged by the Saturday night water incident. Several rooms were affected including two with collapsed ceilings. Professional cleaners have already been called in. It’s unknown what caused the water main to break or how much the repairs and cleanup will cost.
