WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Wausau's Holiday Parade returns tonight for its 28th Season.

It's the annual Winter Parade hosted by Wausau Area Events . Director Kari Rasmussen says this year will have a lot of events downtown as well. "Once the parade is over, Santa and the Mayor will light the officials downtown Christmas Tree." Events and activities will also be taking place on Artsblock, with cookies, storytime with Mrs. Claus and other events.

Parade lineup starts at 4:30pm at Marathon Park, and the parade gets underway at 6:30, heading downtown for the 400 Block.
