PLOVER, WI (WSAU) - Fire severely damaged a house in the Portage County Town of Dewey Thursday, about two miles south of Plover. Firefighters battled the blaze from about 3:45 p.m. until after 9-o-clock. There was nobody home at the time. The cause is under investigation. Several departments assisted the Dewey Fire Department at the scene.
