DULUTH, Minn. (UWSP) – UW-Stevens Point held a 2-0 lead over the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday afternoon but the Saints evened the score with just seconds remaining in regulation and scored the game-winner in overtime to secure the 3-2 victory.

The Pointers' Allie Tanzer (Chippewa Falls, WI/Chippewa Falls) scored her ninth of the season at the 15:36 mark of the opening period to give UWSP the early edge.
Emily Lester (Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) added her fifth of the season midway through the second as the Pointers built a 2-0 advantage.
In the third, the Saints' Nina Waidacher scored her ninth of the season to cut UWSP's lead in half, 2-1.
With just 15 seconds remaining, and with an extra attacker on the ice, the Saints pushed the equalizer past UWSP's Hillary Drake (Mosinee, WI/Mosinee), forcing overtime.
Just 2:19 into the overtime period, CSS's Alana Levido scored the game-winner, giving the Saints the 3-2 overtime win and a weekend series sweep.
Drake stopped 31 shots on the day while Teraysa White stopped 23 of UWSP's 25 shots on net.
UWSP (6-4-2, 5-3-2 NCHA) returns to action after the holiday break with a game at home against the University of St. Thomas on January 9, 2013.
