WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) There was a garage fire on Wausau's west side last night. It happened around 6:30 on South 2nd Avenue.

A person renting the home said he heard a boom and then saw flames.

Firefighters say the garage was fully engulfed when they arrived. The structure is a total loss. A car parked inside was destroyed; so was a truck that was just outside the garage .

No one was injured. The cause is still under investigation.
