WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - A Wausau man will be sentenced today after being convicted of sending sexually-explicit text messages to an underaged girl.
32-year-old William Hebbe reached a plea deal in October. He’s been found guilty of exchanging sexual messages on Facebook with a 12-year-old. He asked her about her underwear and said he wanted to touch her all over. Investigators seized two computers and several cell phones, and examined over 14-hundred pages of internet chat room transcripts. They say Hebbe used multiple e-mail accounts and on-line names. Marathon County Judge Michael Moran will determine his punishment at 1:30 p.m.
This may not be the end of William Hebbe’s problems. Investigators are looking into similar offenses that may have occurred with other underaged girls.
