FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - A man has been convicted of intentionally killing his wife in Fond du Lac County.
A jury found 36-year-old Jason Anderson guilty on two counts for the November 2011 death of his wife Nicole.
Prosecutors say after he shot his wife, Anderson fled the state. He was later arrested in Alabama after tipping off detectives to his whereabouts after using an ATM.
A sentencing date was not immediately set, but life in prison is mandatory with the judge deciding if and when he could be eligible for parole.
