ADAMS, WI (WSAU) -  One person is dead after a traffic crash near Adams Tuesday afternoon. A woman was the only occupant of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. She crashed at the intersection of highway 73 and County Road F at 5:48 p.m. The woman’s name is being withheld until relatives are notified.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the accident.

Assisting agencies included the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Rome Police Department, Plainfield Fire Department, and Portage County Sheriff’s Department.

West of Nekoosa crashed at the intersection of highway 73 and County Road F at 5:48 p.m.  West was the only occupant of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the accident.
