(Memphis, TN) — The Milwaukee Bucks have lost their sixth straight annual game at Memphis, 103-to-83 last (Thursday) night. The Grizzlies led by nine at the break and pulled away in the second half with a barrage of three-pointers.
Memphis hit 10-of-28 from beyond the arc, and Jeff Green led the Grizzlies with 21 points on a trio of threes — two more than the entire Bucks’ team, as Khris Middleton made Milwaukee’s only trey.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected midway through the fourth quarter, and Bucks’ coach Jason Kidd says his third-year pro was expressing frustration with a missed lay-up.
Greg Monroe scored 21 for Milwaukee, which has dropped three of its last four and has still not won at Fed-Ex Forum in Memphis since November of 2009. The Bucks host Miami tonight.
