WOODRUFF, WI (WSAU) - Three men were arrested Wednesday in Oneida County after a heroin distribution operation was busted near Woodruff. Chief Sheriff’s Deputy John Sweeney says their department teamed up with the Northcentral Drug Group, and took 25-year-old Joseph D. Potvine, 26-year-old Joseph D. Lynch, and 26-year-old Korwin D. Rice in to custody.
The three face multiple charges including conspiracy to deliver heroin, maintaining a drug dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
These arrests are part of an ongoing controlled substance investigation by the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group (NORDEG) Task Force.
Participating agencies in this investigation included the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the Rhinelander Police Department, the Vilas County Sheriff's Office, the Woodruff Police Department and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office.
