CRANDON, WI (WSAU) A 32 year old Wausau man is in stable condition and five people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in the northern Wisconsin town of Mole Lake.

Forest County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a house in Mole Lake on Wednesday where the man was found stabbed and a woman claimed to have been held against her will.

Five people were later arrested at a Carter motel and officials say it appears to be gang-related and may be tied to other cities. More arrests are expected.

No names have been released.
