GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU)The Green Bay Packers will start practicing today to face the New York Giants in Sunday's second-round N-F-C playoff game at Lambeau Field. The top-seeded Packers had the weekend off, while the Giants won their first playoff game in four years, 24-to-2 yesterday over Atlanta. Eli Manning threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to Hakeem Nicks. Matt Ryan threw for 199 yards, as Atlanta remained winless in the playoffs since 2004. Giants' corner Aaron Ross might not play against the Packers, after he suffered a concussion yesterday. The Packers just barely topped the Giants at the Meadowlands, 38-35 on December fourth. The last time New York visited Lambeau was the day after Christmas in 2010, when the Pack crushed the Giants 45-17. And some media accounts mention the Packers' home overtime loss to the Giants in the N-F-C Championship Game at a frigid Lambeau Field four years ago. But only 16 current Packers were on that 2007 squad -- and eight are now starters.
