WEST ALLIS, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities are trying to identify a skeleton found in an abandoned house in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis. Police were told Monday afternoon that a body was in the house. Police said the body was so decomposed that only his-or-her skeleton remained. Officers said the house was apparently abandoned for several years. Police and the Milwaukee County medical examiner’s office were trying at last word to identify the body, and figure out how the person died.
