The Hell's Kitchen star was sued by bosses at Duco Events after he agreed to appear at a charity event in the country, but pulled out after his mother suffered a health scare.
Company bosses claimed to have lost money and suffered damage to their reputation after selling 2,000 tickets in the hope of raising funds to pay the medical bills of an ailing New Zealand child.
The case was due to go to trial in the summer (12), but both sides met in Auckland on Monday (05Mar12) and a settlement was reached.
A joint statement from Ramsay and Duco director David Higgins reads, ""The parties have reached a mutually agreeable financial settlement, including a donation of $100,000 to Matisse Reid and the trust Chance2Eat. Duco Events and Gordon Ramsay are committed to working together in 2013.""
