BONDUEL, Wis. (WSAU) – Shawano County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men for stealing a car from Green Bay and then driving off without paying for gas in Bonduel.
It all started yesterday afternoon when a clerk at the Bonduel Citgo station called police to report a gas skip. Police later discovered the car was stolen. Officers found the car on Highway 47 about 20 minutes later.
The driver is a 20-year-old Green Bay man. The passenger was a 17-year-old from Wrightstown.
Police are referring the two to prosecutors on charges that include operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, theft, bail jumping, possession of marijuana and operating after revocation.
